Categories that fit
A primary category chosen with care, plus only the secondary ones that are true.
Richmond patients often add a road or a landmark to a health search: dentist richmond bc no 3 road, dentist steveston richmond bc, and walk-in clinic searches naming Blundell, Cambie, Ironwood Mall and No. 3 Road. They picture where they will park, then look for the clinic that fits.
The city’s name works against you. Only one of Google’s ten suggestions for “dentist richmond” names BC; others point to Richmond Hill, Quebec and Ontario. Locals add “bc”, and your listing, page titles and footer should too.
Richmond is also strongly multilingual. Cantonese and Mandarin are each the mother tongue of more than a fifth of residents, and about 60% of people here are immigrants. If your team can explain treatment in other languages, say so clearly, and give full pages in those languages a proper structure.
Search demand
Exact Google.ca suggestions from October 2026. Roads, malls, urgency and children come up most.
Patients are asking three things. Can I get there easily? (No. 3 Road, Steveston, Ironwood, Blundell, Cambie.) Can you see me soon? (open now, emergency, walk-in.) Do you treat people like me? (children, braces, sports injuries, insured massage.) A clinic that settles all three on the first screen gives people a reason to choose it, even from just below a bigger practice.
Where clinics lose patients
We find these on clinic listings from City Centre to Steveston. All of them are fixable.
Without the unit, floor and entrance, patients circle the parking lot, and Google can confuse you with the clinic next door.
Walk-in hours shift often. A listing still showing last month’s schedule earns irritated reviews and drops out of open-now results.
Cleanings, implants, braces, sports physio, acupuncture and eye exams are separate searches. One services list cannot match them all.
A line about languages spoken helps visitors. Full pages in another language need their own URLs and tags to be found.
The work
A primary category chosen with care, plus only the secondary ones that are true.
Accurate pages for the services you want more of, approved by your clinical team.
Units, entrances, parking, transit and accessibility notes on the listing and contact page.
Separate addresses and tags for pages your team writes or has translated. We do not translate.
A simple front-desk routine, and replies that never confirm someone was treated.
Each month: phone calls, booking taps and map direction requests, with the searches behind them where available.
Done carefully
Each industry has its own regulators and pitfalls. Here is where we draw the line for this one.
If your regulatory college read every line we wrote for you, nothing should need explaining.
Dentists, physicians, physiotherapists, massage therapists, optometrists and traditional Chinese medicine practitioners in BC each answer to a regulatory college with advertising standards. Several colleges have recently merged, so we work from the current standards for your profession and send anything borderline to you first.

Questions
Write “Richmond, BC” wherever Google looks: titles, headings, the footer, your listing and directories. Add your neighbourhood and road too. Together they tell Google and patients you are the Richmond in Metro Vancouver.
Not by itself. Each practice needs its own name, unit, phone number and category, spelled the same way on every site. Trouble starts with duplicates or clashing details, and we check for both.
If many patients prefer Cantonese or Mandarin and your team can write or commission accurate pages, yes. Each language needs its own URL and language tags. We set up the structure; the words come from you.
Asking politely is generally fine. Trouble comes from offering anything in return, or asking only people you expect to be pleased. We follow your college’s standards and Google’s review policy.
Plans start at $300 a month, with Growth at $500 and Pro at $700 (CAD), and no long contract. Listing fixes can lift calls within weeks; treatment pages take a few months.
